Program your CNC pressbrakes over the
Web
Companies having problems in finding skilled operators to manage and program CNC pressbrakes can take advantage of an online programming service over the Web.
Radian can now take CNC technology one step further by offering online programming for CNC pressbrakes over the past 10 years the face of pressing has changed so much due to the constant development of pressbrakes and the technology that is now assigned to them Even cutting machines such as lasers and profilers, are now programmed by CAD/CAM software

Online pressbrake programming service saves time
An online pressbrake programming service together with technical support is tailored to individually to prepare work for production to save time and money on cutting and bending.
Spend less time programming, more time pressing
Software company suggests that out of 60 min on a CNC press brake, 40 min is spent programming, wheras it is possible to reverse this - that is - 40 min poroduction, 20 min programming.
And this is problems can occur as this software is heavily relied upon to draw, unfold, and program in a short space of time.
But without taking into account the problems that can occur when bending, for example holes might bulge if they are to close to the bend line.
Bending aids may be needed to avoid shape distortion.
These are just a few of the problems that can occur and ultimately lead to the part being re programmed and then re made, so costing time and money In past years an operator would study a drawing (or blueprint)) and with his skills he would work out the best way to bend any job on his pressbrake.
These skills would often include working out bend sequence, position of bend lines and bending feasibility, not to mention bending formulas for the working out of CNC programs.
Sadly companies are finding it more difficult to find operators with these skills due to the fact that many companies are becoming more reliant on the machine technology.
This is where Radian can offer valuable support for its customers.
Among other services we can offer a programming service for pressbrakes fitted with cybelec controls.
It is done by first taking the drawing - in either hard copy or electronically (DXF format) - and from it create a 3D program.
The program can then be emailed to the user company (along with a detailed set-up sheet) from which it can be downloaded onto floppy disk ready for production.
All our staff have full pressbraking experience and can be relied upon for any concerns or questions that the customer might have.
