Retrofitable proprietary hot runner technology for single stage ISBM gives excellent temperature uniformity, a wider process window, quicker start up and easier maintenance.

R and D prides itself on the wide portfolio of high quality products and services that it provides to the market In addition to one stage injection stretch blow mould (ISBM) tooling, blow moulds for two stage stretch blow moulding (reheat blow) and preform moulds, injection blow mould tooling, extrusion blow moulds, injection moulds and rapid prototypes, R and D's offer a proprietary hot runner technology, 'Genesis'

Regarded by many as 'the jewel in the crown' within R and D's product range, Genesis continues to go from strength to strength and has now established itself as arguably the world's premier hot runner system for single stage ISBM.

Launched in 2003, 'Genesis' was originally developed by R and D in response to calls from customers for an alternative to the hot runner systems offered both by OEM machine manufacturers and by third parties in order to give customers benefits over and above all other hot runner systems for single stage ISBM.

Giving excellent temperature uniformity, a wider process window, quicker start up (balanced fill within 95%) and easier maintenance, Genesis is an energy efficient system which gives processors more control and flexibility in their production operations.

Available for both new tools and retrofit for all major single stage machine types, Genesis has proved so success that it is now specified as the standard by many single stage PET processors worldwide and, in response to market demand, R and D also launched a Genesis manifold for injection blow mould tooling in 2005.

In addition to supporting existing Genesis products, R and D is continually looking for ways to also expand the Genesis family to bring the benefits of the technology to other areas.
