* Asian Technical Summit - September 2005 - Shanghai was also the recent venue for an Asian Technical Summit, jointly hosted by Renishaw and CADCAM developer Delcam.

Attended by industry representatives from nine countries, the event covered all aspects of the product development process and showed how the two hosts can help companies improve efficiency at every stage from initial design through to manufacturing and inspection.

The latest methods were described to increase productivity, improve quality and reduce lead times, through the application of modern technology.
