Gallagher, who will be responsible for the new operation, has worked with Renishaw in Asia for the last 13 years, and is currently based at Renishaw's Singapore office.
He added, "This is an exciting time for the ASEAN region, and as a respected global brand, Renishaw is well placed to take advantage of the many opportunities being presented.
