Roller chain has been upgraded with solid, extruded bushes and rollers to enhance its wear and fatigue resistance and to improve its all round durability.

Renold's A and S brand of roller chain has been upgraded to enhance its wear and fatigue resistance and to improve its all round durability The new A and S chain features solid, extruded bushes and rollers rather than the weaker curled bushes offered by some other manufacturers

This combination of solid bushes and rollers ensures that there are no concentrated areas of stress within the bearing areas, which dramatically improves the working life of the chain by reducing wear.

The chain now has high waisted side plates to improve stress distribution for improved fatigue resistance.

The plates also have beneficial compressive stresses built in during manufacture to improve their durability.

A and S Chain is available in European (BS) and ANSI standard with a full range of M, K and extended bearing pin attachments.

It can even be supplied with a specific lubricant to suit a customer's particular requirements.
