Nickel-plated chain reduces maintenance
Bakery sought a lubrication-free chain to reduce maintenance and to avoid any possible contamination of bread products and chose a nickel plated and dry-to-touch product.
Baking Australia, Australia's largest bread manufacturer, has replaced the chain on all the machinery in one of its bakeries with Renold's nickel plated and dry-to-touch Syno chain Syno was chosen because a lubrication-free chain was required to reduce maintenance and to avoid any possible contamination of bread products
Syno could also be installed quickly and easily as it is interchangeable with standard chain and could therefore run on existing sprockets without the need for any modification or replacement.
Part of Goodman Fielder, Australia's largest food group, Baking Australia owns some of the most well known household brands in Australia including 'Buttercup', 'Uncle Toby's' and 'Wonder White'.
