Rexnord gear couplings literature released

Available as both roller and leaf chains, RexPro is fabricated from selected steels with all components heat treated in-house using the latest advanced technology.
Manufacturing processes include shot peening for enhanced material strength, high-preloading to minimise elongation and ball drifting together with seamless rollers to ensure smooth articulation.
These features are enhanced by a special lubricant-coating that is applied after assembly.
Tests have proven RexPro chain to have up to 12% improved wear resistance plus 150% higher protection against cold welding (DIN 51834) compared to its predecessor.
In addition, it performs 8-10 time better in the DIN salt spray test (DIN 50021 SS/ISO 9227 SS), providing up 100% better link articulation even with long term exposure to aggressive and corrosive environments during use or equipment storage.
Environmentally, the new chain employs no heavy metals, no PTFE and no silicon, thereby exceeding all current environmental standards (NSF-H2 Certification for food industry and RoHS/2005 for electric/electronic equipment) thereby satisfying the environmental expectations of market leading manufacturers.
Maintenance of these high standards is assured thanks to an Environment Management System (ISO 14001:2005) and Quality Management System ISO 9001.
Rexnord RexPro roller chains are available in sizes (BS and ANSI) from 04 to 72 B-3 and leaf chains in sizes from AL422 to F76-99.
