Remploy has embarked on a significant investment programme in 2004 to enhance its production capabilities and Jamie will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the investment and that the company's infrastructure and processes allow customers to gain the maximum benefit from it.
Jamie joins Remploy from BAE Systems in Basildon where he was production programme manager.
He originally joined the company at its Ilford site as a process engineer when it was Plessey.
Later roles as production engineering manager and project leader followed as the company' s ownership changed to Siemens and finally BAE Systems.
Jamie D'Albe began his career in Barnstaple where he served an engineering apprenticeship with J and S Marine before joining power supply manufacturer Coutant Lamba as a senior industrial engineer.
