Machining micro-holes in plastics film at low cost
For the scribing or perforation of plastics films, a compact and easy to integrate entry-level solution requires no connection to external gases and has very low power consumption.
2 versions of the system are available, the StarScribe Easy S for Scribing - allowing continuous lines at high web speeds, or the higher peak power version the StarScribe Easy P for Perforation - where a lower density of holes is required.
Holes or scribe lines can be synchronised to a printed I-mark or can run asynchronously.
With 100W of laser power, the system is air cooled for maximum flexibility.
The turnkey system can be sited next to the machine onto which the laser is to be integrated.
For demonstration of the capabilites of our Scribing and Perforation systems, Rofin-Baasel have a dedicated application lab where we can prepare samples for customers using their original material.
Our experienced staff will prepare samples using the full range of equipment, depending on the needs of the customer.
With web width up to 600 mm, it is possible to produce experimental packages with samples made in our application lab. Request a free brochure from Rofin-Baasel UK ...
