GAO RFID Asset Tracking unveils HF reader module

GAO RFID Asset Tracking has launched the GAO713003 high-frequency (HF) radio-frequency identification (RFID) reader module.

The GAO713003 has been released as a direct replacement for magnetic-stripe reader modules in order to convert existing applications and hardware into RFID-based technology.

The 13.56MHz HF RFID reader module features high performance and security and is said to be a power-efficient solution.

It allows existing installations to retain most of their hardware infrastructure and to change to a more secure RFID-based solution.

The module provides selectable frequencies and RFID coding.
