Radioplan has announced the agreement of a new distribution partnership with Teltai (Taiwan) of Taiwan, supported by Eurasian Telecom, a Radioplan Business Partner.

The agreement with Teltai covers customer representation and front line technical support for Radioplan's popular WiNeS 2G and 3G RF network optimization products in the Taiwan region.

Teltai is one of Taiwan's leading telecommunications technology and services firms with over thirty years experience in the provision of software and services to government and numerous private sector clients in Taiwan.

It is led by the Chairman of the Taipei Electrical Commercial Association and General Director of the Taipei Chamber of Commerce, Albert Loh.

Eurasian Telecom is headed by Derek Rhodes, a seasoned telecommunications industry executive with many years of GSM and 3G network optimisation experience.

Derek has held senior sales management positions with leading network equipment vendors.

"We're very pleased to be working with these excellent partners in Taiwan.

The combination of Teltai, a well-respected local language partner, and Eurasian Telecom combines relevant technical and commercial expertise, and international sales experience.

This will be of great benefit to Radioplan," said Johannes Huebner, Radioplan's Executive Manager.

"Taiwan is a vibrant market that demands fast, accurate, reliable support, and with both Teltai and Eurasian Telecom we have a very professional solution for our existing and future Taiwanese customers.

We look forward to a very positive and fruitful relationship for many years to come.

"I am delighted to be working with Radioplan in the automatic RF optimization market.

The WiNeS suite complements our own in-house expertise and we believe it will make an important contribution to the success of 3G in our country" said Albert Loh, President of Teltai.

"Radioplan's products have a uniquely strong customer track record, and one of the world's largest installed bases.

We look forward to extending that success into Taiwan.

"I'm very happy that we have been able to agree to work together in Taiwan," said Derek Rhodes, Managing Director of Eurasian Telecom.

"Radioplan is an excellent company, with great people, that produces software of the highest quality and provides excellent customer support.

I look forward to developing our presence in what is one of the world's most dynamic and demanding markets.

Radioplan's simulation and optimization products are currently in service with more than 34 customers in 18 countries worldwide, including Taiwan.

Customers include several of the world's largest operators, equipment vendors, and outsourced service providers, with the WiNeS optimization platform delivering automatic network optimization solutions to support numerous live 2G and 3G networks.
