Offering high ultimate vacuum, and available in models from 70 up to 2200m3/h capacity, the non-contact, dry-running operation of the Twister VSB range makes it particularly suitable for high-capacity packaging applications, and for barrel de-gassing and other processes in plastics extrusion and injection moulding.
Although the range meets temperature class T4 both externally and internally, it can also be fitted with an inverter for even cooler pumping duties.
Dry-running operation precludes process contamination and environmental pollution, and the Twister VSB range is fitted with rugged mechanical and gas barrier (optional) seals.
The pumps have very high liquid tolerance.
For instance the VSB430 can pump up to 1000 litre/h continuously, at full speed: a feature that is also useful for internal cleaning in place, using process compatible solvent or steam.
Nodular cast iron pump chambers and screws are corrosion-proofed by coating them with PTFE, nickel (20 microns), or PFA.
