Rietschle (UK) is introducing Forano: a range of compact, side channel vacuum pumps and compressors that can deliver large capacities or high pressure differentials, thanks to new impeller/side channel geometry coupled with variable rotational speeds Driven by speed controlled, brushless DC motors, they are ideal for applications where space is restricted, such as packaging machines and paper handling applications
High-speed (9000 rpm) models SSK 90 and SSK 120 operate as compressors and vacuum pumps.
Their dry-running, non-contact operation also means no process contamination or environmental pollution, making them pumps of choice for photo and repro processes.
Designed for air centre applications, the single stage SSK 600 can be installed in an area of only 420mm x 345mm.
Despite its trim figure, it provides 640m3/h of compressed air at up to 100mbar.
