High speed M-C cuts light alloys and plastics
The new Prestige machining centre for complex machining tasks in light alloys and plastics, manufactured by the Italian company, FOM Industrie, has been introduced to the UK.
The show marked the launch in the UK of a new Kasto computer-controlled storage system, called Unitower C.
Designed to stock a combination sheet, long stock, pallets and boxes, it is a low-cost, modular solution to maximising the amount of material that companies are able to store within a 1.5m by 3m 'footprint'.
Wagner further commented that storage systems are becoming more popular these days with the ever-increasing price of industrial building space.
There are also efficiency as well as health and safety drawbacks associated with storing parts on the floor and manually handling them.
Announced also at the show was the appointment of Jason Chodynicki as sales manager.
