Miller Filtair 130 is designed for welding fumes

A Miller Electric Mfg. Co. product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Nov 25, 2009

The Filtair 130 fume extractor from Miller is said to provide contractors, maintenance and repair professionals and intermittent welding operations with fume filtration in a compact, portable unit.

The Filtair 130 has been designed specifically for welding fumes and is claimed to capture fume particles one-third the size of competitive units - down to 0.1 micron.

It weighs 46lb and is less than 2ft tall and is therefore easily carried or rolled wherever welding is required.

For reduced operator downtime and maintenance costs, the Filtair 130 features a manually cleanable filter using compressed air for extended filter life.

The unit's variable speed 1hp motor filters up to 132ft3/min at 68.5dB.

The Filtair 130 comes with a standard 8ft collection hose; also available are optional 17ft and 34ft hoses, all of which connect to funnel or slotted nozzles or a fume-extraction welding gun.
