Red Rooster is offering spark-proofed versions of all its compact and large capacity air hoists, together with its entire range of air hoist trolleys.
In production and storage operations, inflammable gases and vapours combined with air may form an explosive atmosphere.
Such gases and vapours are classified under European legislation.
Red Rooster spark-resistant hoists are for use in ATEX Category 2 and Cenelec Zone 1 and 2 classified areas.
They are used extensively in the offshore, onshore, petrochemical, mining, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Options include copper-plated sprockets, marine paint, stainless steel hooks and nickel-plated hooks for the food industry.
Hoists feature a steel body, bronze-coated hooks, stainless or Inox steel chain and spark- resistant pendant control.
Trolleys feature heavy-duty rubber collision bumpers and bronze wheels.
