A German surface technology specialist Rosler has announced its acquisition of the prominent Swiss shot blasting system manufacturer, Baiker.
The Global surface technology specialist Rosler (Roesler) has announced its acquisition of the prominent Swiss manufacturer Baiker With an admirable reputation, stretching back more than 70 years for building high quality shot blast systems for peen forming, shot peening, wet shot blasting and blast cleaning, it is claimed that Zurich based Baiker's considerable expertise will allow the company to integrate seamlessly into what is now one of the worlds leading manufacturers of vibratory finishing and shot blast technology

Currently supplying some of the world's leading companies, such as Airbus, Rolls-Royce, MTU, Lufthansa, Volvo and BMW, with custom-made CNC and robot-controlled shot peening solutions, Baiker AG's products perfectly complement those of Rosler and will enable future Group customers to benefit from greater flexibility, higher degrees of automation and improved services.
Owing to the commercial success of the products emanating from Rosler's design department and the company's reputation for quality and service, Rosler has increased its turnover in the area of shot blast technology by a remarkable 20% year-on-year over the past three years.
Each currently boasting healthy order books, at the end of the last financial year, the combined turnover of both divisions was EUR 190 million.
To ensure proximity to their customer base Rosler operates a worldwide production and distribution network comprising 12 branch offices, including its Centre of Excellence at Knowsley, Merseyside.
