The recent acquisition of condition-based monitoring specialist Entek has enabled Rockwell Automation to expand its training programme to include up-to-date techniques such as plant asset management, predictive maintenance routines and vibration analysis.
As a Microsoft Development Partner, it is also able to offer training focused on the application of Microsoft products such as Windows NT, BackOffice and SQL Server in the industrial environment.
In addition to the programme offered at Rockwell Automation's own centres, customers can request customised training courses to meet their specific requirements.
It has also teamed with a number of local providers around the country, to offer training of the highest standard at local colleges of further education.
Many of these courses are third party accredited by BTEC or NCVQ and lead to nationally recognised qualifications.
To enable individuals to test their own knowledge of new and existing Rockwell Automation products and systems, the company is about to introduce a new web-based appraisal system.
This will allow visitors to the website to identify skill gaps that need to be addressed before a new system or item of equipment is installed.
For individuals requiring more than one training course in a 12-month period, Rockwell Automation has introduced Training Passes.
The Bronze Pass provides an entitlement to 10 days training, the Silver Pass to 15 days, and the Gold Pass provides unlimited training for one year.
The Passes simplify booking, provide maximum flexibility and offer substantial savings on the cost of training.
