Push button stations with DeviceLogix component technology are ideal for applications where powerful, robust and versatile operator interfaces with a built in network connection are required.

Rockwell Automation introduces a range of push button stations with DeviceLogix component technology The Allen-Bradley 800E DeviceNet pushbutton stations with integrated DeviceLogix offer significant advantages over conventional units and are ideal for applications where powerful, robust and versatile operator interfaces with a built in network connection are required

DeviceLogix allows OEMs and end users to execute simple control at the device level.

This reduces processing demands on the central controllers and releases capacity for data gathering and other more advanced functions.

System response is improved and control system architectures can be simplified.

The 800E DeviceNet push buttons with DeviceLogix are suitable for a wide range of applications including the control of conveyors, pumping stations, small machines, compressors, assembly lines and cranes.

Designed for vertical or horizontal mounting, the robust push button stations and are supplied fully assembled with Series 800E push buttons and built in DeviceNet interface.

All the connections are made using a standard plug in network interface cable, reducing wiring time and connection errors.

Available as 2, 3 and 4 way units, there are 23 different styles of push button including an E-Stop version.

All combinations have their own unique catalogue number for ease of ordering and are delivered fully configured for quick installation.

The stations offer a degree of protection up to IP 66.

Using plug-in connectors, the new push button stations can be quickly and safely integrated into systems and applications, and up to four external I/O-connections are available for local sensors or other devices.

For applications where illuminated push buttons and selector switches are required, new brighter LEDs are utilised to enable the operating condition to be instantly recognised - even from a distance.

The new Allen-Bradley 800E pushbutton stations with DeviceLogix have inherent smart component technology to provide low cost, device level control.

As DeviceLogix handles local logic processing locally response times and network traffic are minimised providing significant improvements in system responsiveness.
