Inkjet coding is a prime application area where R A Rodriguez adds considerable value.
Using its Werner Easyline linear motion modules and controllers as a basis, R A Rodriguez is able to design and construct purpose-built gantry systems that transport a number of print-heads across rows of products.
A typical example is at Yeo Valley Farms.
Created from Werner Easyline and driven by stepper motor, this gantry system includes adjustable inkjet head holders.
It transports three print-heads over yoghurt pots that are set in rows of three on a large rotary filling machine.
The entire IP65-rated unit can be rotated through 45deg to allow the direction of print to be altered to suit the pot lid.
The system was installed complete with controller for programming print position and for communication with the host machine.
