Beams for linear motion systems are of a heat-treated aluminium alloy profile with hollow cross section, which gives them high strength under torsion and deflection stresses.

Linear motion is a technology sector in which R A Rodriguez has considerable experience The company has acted as the factory representative of IEF Werner for many years and it is now set to add another string to its bow

R A Rodriguez has become the sole UK distributor for Speedy Rail, an innovative product designed and manufactured by TMT in Italy.

The Speedy Rail beam is a heat-treated aluminium alloy profile with hollow cross section which gives it high strength under torsion and deflection stresses.

Rail profiles are manufactured by a special extrusion process, then surface hardened and given a patented finishing treatment.

This provides a smooth, hard surface comparable to tempered steel.

A key attribute of this product is that its non-stick surface layer offers excellent resistance to weld splatter.

Speedy Rail and its accessories are therefore ideally suited to the automotive sector.

As a result, the system has found an excellent niche as the basis of lift and carry transfer lines, in the field of car body panel welding.

FIAT, BMW, Citroen, Jaguar, Mercedes, Renault, SAAB, SEAT, Volkswagen, Volvo, Ford and GM all employ this easy-to-operate and virtually maintenance-free system.

R A Rodriguez has been appointed to represent both TMT's component and systems interests in the UK.
