Users of a range of 6-axis tool grinding machines now have the option of attaching n automatic tailstock for grinding of reamers, form tools and other tools which have to be ground between centers.

Rollomatic is known for designing its tool grinders for ultimate reliability in automated and unattended cutting tool manufacturing We have taken this concept to the next level by developing an automatic tailstock option for our range of 6-axis tool grinding machines

The tailstock option facilitates the grinding of reamers, form tools and other tools which have to be ground between centers.

In addition, this system allows automatic loading/unloading in an unattended mode.

The tailstock swivels into position automatically, and the workhead pushes the front of the blank into the center.

The repeatability of this positioning system is outstanding and allows you to grind cutting tools with high accuracy on an unattended basis.

Both male and female centers can be used.

The V-block shank guidance, which is standard on all Rollomatic 6-axis tool grinding machines, is still used in conjunction with the tailstock, creating perfect concentricity between the shank and the cutting edges.

The collect acts as a driving mechanism for the shank, which is also standard on all Rollomatic 6-axis tool grinding machines.

This system is available for retro-fitting to all GrindSmart grinding machines.
