Low cost pressure sensor for OEM
applications
Roxspur Measurement and Control has announced the Sensit Economic Industrial Transmitter, a low-cost sensor for OEM pressure measurement.
Roxspur Measurement and Control, specialist manufacturers of the Sensit range of pressure sensors and transmitters with extensive expertise in ceramic strain gauge and thin film technologies, has announced a low-cost sensor for OEM pressure measurement The Sensit Economic Industrial Transmitter (EIT) range is a robust, compact unit, measuring pressures over ranges from 1-200bar gauge or absolute, and built with a totally stainless steel external construction

Variable area flowmeters have many options
Variable area flowmeters use standard glass flowtubes, while frame options are available with stainless steel connections and 'Viton' seals, or nickel plated brass connections and nitrile seals.
Diaphragm pumps move corrosive chemicals
Air operated double-diaphragm pumps claimed to be are the best air driven pumps for hot, corrosive or abrasive liquids: the hardest of industrial pumping applications.
Specialised temperature sensors developed
Specialised sensor designs have been developed for glass and ceramic manufacture, heat treatment and moulding control, food processing and brewing as well as standard units.
The small EIT sensor incorporates an ASIC circuit to ensure accuracy and temperature compensation across all environmental conditions.
A 1 percent total error band is achieved over the temperature range -40C to +105C, with a stability of 0.25 percentFS per year.
Units are available with a 2 wire 4-20mA output working off 8-30VDC, or 3 wire voltage outputs of 0.5-4.5V from a 5V supply, or 1-5V from an 8-30V supply.
Electrical connection can be made via Packard, M12 or DIN 43650 connectors, or an integral cable harness.
All wetted materials are either 304L or 316L stainless steel, in a laser welded construction.
Pressure connections can use NPT, BSP, UNF or M12-1.5 threads.
Major applications of these transducers will be in OEM applications in hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, refrigeration systems, pump monitoring, spraying systems, machine building and robotics.
Attractive pricing will also suit the OEM market, typically starting at around GBP30 per unit, dependent on the specification.
