The effectiveness of the RPC designed 5 litre container for Cuprinol Sprayable Fence Treatment has been noted

The pack concept was devised by RPC's design department at Raunds in consultation with marketing and technical personnel at Cuprinol Key requirements were for an easy pouring pack (since the product is dispensed into the special Cuprinol Fence Sprayer) and a sturdy and robust appearance in keeping with a product developed for outdoors

In addition, the height of the pack could not exceed 320mm to enable it to run on existing filling lines.

RPC's final solution involves respectively the blow moulding and injection moulding expertise of its Raunds and Market Rasen operations.

The blow moulded HDPE pack features a simple rectangular design incorporating a 63mm neck in the centre.

The central position, wide neck and the design of the shoulders of the container combine to ensure glug free pouring.

../ Easy pouring is further aided by the separate injection moulded polypropylene handle, retained by the snap-on neck ring.

Users hold the pack by the handle and base and the handle pivots during pouring to ensure accurate controlled dispense of the liquid.

A further benefit of the 63mm neck is that it allows the container to incorporate an induction heat seal cap, with a tamper-evident seal that also ensures the pack can be safely transported without leaking.

On-shelf appeal is maximised by a colourful sleeve that includes eye-catching graphics and detailed product information, and the wide decoration areas of the container ensure easy application.

" We are delighted with the pack that RPC developed for Cuprinol Sprayable Fence Treatment," comments Joanne Holder of Cuprinol.

"It was vital that we had a container that matched the effectiveness of the product in terms of both consumer convenience and on-shelf image".

"Sprayable Fence Treatment's immediate and continuing success since its launch is testament to the excellent performance of both the product and its pack.".
