Using the expertise of its Kerkrade, Bramlage and Kutenholz operations, RPC has developed a bespoke packaging solution for a new travel pack for The Nut Company's ultje Crispers, Germany's favourite coated nuts brand Blow moulded in PP/EVOH/PP, the 465ml jar (which contains 150g of nuts) features a unique wavy design created particularly to appeal to the 12 - 25 year old market

The barrier material and injection moulded PP cap with a heat seal foil maintain product freshness, while the robust construction provides excellent protection for the delicate coated nuts.

The curved shape is easy to hold and, together with a wide mouth and recloseable cap, maximise convenience for easy consumption on the move.

The jar's eye-catching sleeve, produced by Tadbik in Israel, is finished in the familiar ultje blue with distinctive graphics and a colour-matched cap.

The nuts are available with two coatings - Chilli and Paprika.

The jar was designed by Berndt and Partner in Berlin and their concepts were then further developed into a finished container suitable for production by the design office at RPC Verpackungen Kutenholz.

The jar is manufactured and sleeved by RPC Kerkrade, while the cap is manufactured by RPC Bramlage.

RPC was selected in particular for its ability to provide the complete package.

"We are delighted with this innovative jar design, which has helped to further develop the Crispers brand and is both a practical and innovative solution for snacking on the move," comments Dirk Hochschorner, Marketing Manager, The Nut Company.

"Equally important, we have received excellent service from RPC.

Placing the business with them means we can sleep easily knowing our packaging requirements are being reliably and consistently met.".
