The latest container range from RPC Bramlage - suitable for foods, cosmetics, gifts or storage - demonstrates how the functional benefits of plastics can enhance traditional designs.

The latest container range from RPC Bramlage - suitable for a number of applications including foods, cosmetics, gifts or storage - demonstrates how the functional benefits of plastics can enhance traditional designs.

The Clip jar is styled on the classic image of the hermetically sealed, metal-handled glass storage jar.

Injection-moulded in PET, the container and lid have lightweight and impact resistance advantages compared to glass, as well as an equivalent high degree of contact clarity, said RPC.

The blend of traditional appearance and modern functionality applies to the jar's galvanised metal handle and TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) sealing ring, designed for compatibility with food oils and fats.

Decoration options, including labelling, screen printing or embossing and a choice of 125ml, 200ml and 350ml sizes can be specified to enable the container to meet particular brand image and marketing objectives.

According to RPC Bramlage, one company to recognise the Clip jar's benefits and RPC's reliability of supply is The Body Shop, which has specified the container for three products within its Spa Wisdom range.

The 125ml size is used for Africa Spa Honey Butter, the 200ml for Africa Spa Rich Body Balm and the 350ml for Africa Spa Salt Scrub.

All containers feature two-colour screen printing to enhance the overall brand identity.

Gunter Pohlmann, the sales director of the RPC Bramlage-Wiko Cluster, said: "The Clip range delivers all of the functional benefits of modern plastics manufacture with an appealing traditional design.

Its simplicity makes it ideal for a wide variety of applications.".
