A new weedkiller product - featuring a bottle manufactured by RPC Packaging Gent - has received a prestigious consumer award in France.
A new weedkiller product - featuring a bottle manufactured by RPC Packaging Gent - has received a prestigious consumer award in France.
Round-up Express, produced by Monsanto, is a powerful weedkiller available in France and the UK.
Its revolutionary swan-neck spray bottle is especially designed to spray downwards for easier, more precise weeding.
The 1.5-litre HDPE bottle, blow moulded at RPC Gent, was designed and developed by Monsanto's Lawn and Garden team in Antwerp in collaboration with RPC Gent's research and development team.
Featured extensively on its launch in Monsanto's in-house magazine, T and T, Round-up Express has now been recognised by www.consobusiness.com, a French-based website dedicated to promoting innovations in consumer products.
Awarded on the basis of a study of 20,000 consumers, Round-up Express won Product of the Year 2005 in the Garden Products category.
The trophy was presented to Monsanto at a prize ceremony held at the famous Olympia Hall in Paris.
