The decorative effect of RPC Bebo Plastik's Softline technology, allied to a tub from RPC Tedeco-Gizeh Bouxwiller has enhanced the visual impact of a new range of cheese spreads.

Produced by ERU Kasewerk Sangerhausen in Germany, Kasetopfchen is a cheese-based spread available in three flavours - tomato, mushroom and salami.

ERU Kasewerk Sangerhausen required a small, handy tub format for the product but it was keen to enhance the pack's appearance to ensure that it stands out on shelf.

RPC Bebo Plastik has supplied its Softline lid, which utilises the Bebo Print all-over pre-printing technique to enable decoration to the very edge of the rim.

With photographic reproduction and a vivid rim colour to distinguish each flavour, the PS lid ensures an eye-catching appearance at the point of sale, said RPC.

The 125g tub is thermoformed in PP and decorated with dry-offset printing by RPC Tedeco-Gizeh Bouxwiller.

"RPC's solution has delivered an excellent combination of pack convenience and impressive brand image," commented Maurits Sandberg, general manager of ERU Kasewerk Sangerhausen.

Marc Rademacher, key account manager at RPC Bebo Plastik agreed: "The Kasetopfchen range is a good example of our ability to offer a complete packaging solution that incorporates the specialist expertise of individual sites.".
