Odra exports enhanced by plastic jar
Odra, one of Poland's leading candy manufacturers, is using an attractive, durable plastic jar from RPC Containers Blackburn to enhance the brand image and distribution of its products for export.
With sixty years of experience, Odra is a well-known name in candy and exports worldwide Traditionally, its products have been packed in PE bags, but customer feedback revealed demand for a new packaging format that offered excellent display and product protection properties

RPC Containers Blackburn (UK) has produced a new white two-litre spirit bottle in PET for Kalon, to provide increased child-resistance, barrier properties and clarity.
Odra recognised that a clear jar would present the best solution, but preferred not to use glass due to the potential for breakage.
The company instead selected a high-quality plastic container from RPC Blackburn, sourced via Vertim , RPC's agent in Poland.
The 3L Clara jar, injection stretch blow moulded in PET, offers lightweight and shatterproof benefits that make it ideal for export.
In addition, the container's contact clarity allows products to be easily seen, whilst its large decoration area provides space for eye-catching labels.
The project underlines RPC's reputation as a "one stop shop" for packaging needs, as the lid is manufactured by sister site RPC Halstead.
"We have found that the packaging solution offered by RPC Blackburn and RPC Halstead meets our needs perfectly," comments Krzysztof A.
