The ETRX2 modules are low cost, low power transceivers that can be embedded in a wide range of devices to produce self-organising, self-healing wireless meshes.
Incorporating the new single chip EM250 ZigBee system from Ember, they offer developers a simple means for bringing advanced wireless-enabled products to market quickly without the need for RF experience and expertise.
Telegesis provides an AT-style command line interface for the modules, which is similar in style to that used to control dial-up modems.
This interface makes it easy for those not expert in ZigBee wireless technology to develop applications without the need for complex software engineering.
