High load composite fastener is robost
A new type of fastener is designed to be used where anchor points are required in reliable high-load applications.
Composite fastener manufacturer Rotaloc (Europe) are pleased to announce the release of a new type of fastener, developed from their existing range The new product is designed to be used where anchor points are required in reliable high-load applications
Available in either Mild Steel (Zinc plated with a Gold passivate) or Stainless Steel, the robust design has been weight-tested to over 1.5 ton forces, with the four weld points between the baseplate and the locknut proving to be as strong as the rest of the fastener itself.
The construction and automotive industries may be particularly interested in this new design, but it could conceivably be utilised in a variety of situations.
