Rockware Demonstrates Green Achievements

Nominated in the environmental awareness category, Rockware were amongst industrial giants such as BP, Unilever, Pfizer, P and G and First Direct.
Although it did not scoop the first prize, the company said it was encouraged by the commendation it received from the judges for its skill and dedication.
Rockware marketing manager, Sharon Crayton, explained that the company had already felt the benefits: "These awards are very customer focused and the extensive applications procedure encouraged us to analyse how an integrated approach to sustainability is leading to greater efficiency, better use of resources and delivering supply chain benefits to our customers." The chief executive of the National Business Awards, Adrian Tripp, applauded Rockware's positive attitude towards the competition: "We calculated that entrants represented over 30 per cent of the UK's GDP and companies like Rockware are grasping the opportunity to highlight their success.".
