A Reoseal.com product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team May 2, 2007

Resoseal offers simple on-line ordering of made-to-measure flat seals and gaskets made from 40 different materials including rubber, silicone and silicone foam, foam rubber and cellular rubber.

Whether for the construction of plant, equipment and pipework or for use in process technology or electronics, flat seals are used in all sorts of shapes and sizes and must be able to withstand the most varied demands.

At the Resoseal website customers can quickly and simply order made-to-measure flat seals and gaskets.

The seals can be made from a total of 40 different materials including rubber (EPDM, CR, NBR, NR, SBR, PU), FKM (Viton), silicone and silicone foam, PTFE, PVC, foam rubber (EPDM, CR, NK) and cellular rubber (EPDM, CR, NBR).

A simple table provides information on the properties, durability and possible uses of the different materials used in the manufacture of these seals, making it easy to select the one needed for each specific application.

The first step is to define the basic shape of the seal; is it a circle, ring, rectangle or even a profile with a rectangular cross section (a strip)? Special profiles are manufactured from technical drawings which are uploaded as an image to the website.

When the material has been selected, a window opens into which is entered customer-specific information on external and internal diameter, the thickness needed, the number of holes, the number required etc.

The site can also be used to order the delivery of material samples or functional samples for evaluation.

Once the enquiry has been transmitted, every customer receives an individualised offer within two working days which he can immediately confirm on-line as an order by clicking on the menu item "Commission Order".

The tailor-made seals will be delivered anywhere in Europe within eight working days.

All this information is available in English.

The offers, order confirmations and invoices are also written in English.
