New HMI panels web-enable up to five serial protocols simultaneously for remote operarion and data logging.
"The CSPID2 Module makes integration of dedicated PID control much easier to apply," said Jesse Benefiel, Product Manager.
"Drag and drop configuration and downloadable PLC drivers eliminate writing PLC protocols and lets users quickly integrate with any PLC." Benefiel added, "With two PID loops per module, a single master can accommodate up to 32 loops, saving space and greatly reducing total comms scan time compared to discrete node solutions." Applications for the CSPID2 Module include plastic extrusion, vacuum forming and blow molding, packaging equipment, heat treating, and others¥particularly where real time multi-zone temperature control is critical.
The CSPID2 Module is designed for the Red Lion Modular Controller Series.
The compact Controller design offers DIN-rail mounting, hot swappable modules for quick replacement, and storage of module configuration data that automatically configures replaced modules.
Integrated RS-485 and RS-232 eliminates the need for serial converters, and 10-BaseT Ethernet provides communications for networked systems.
