Cutting lubricant supplier advises on HSE rules
Lubricant supplier, Rocol, and precision engineering company, Lonestar LWD, worked together to devise a customised service to ensure every requirement of the UK's HSE was met.
In adding the Unilube option to Foodlube Chain Fluid, ROCOL has increased the scope for food and drink producers to gain the benefits from this advanced formula product as part of their lubrication management programme.
The gas-generated automatic lubricator offers various dispensing rates depending on the application requirement, with activators setting the correct flow rate for one, three, six and twelve months.
Maintenance engineers can simply 'fit and forget' until the application period expires, and they can also make a quick visual assessment thanks the opaque window that each Unilube unit features.
Foodlube Chain Fluid is a non-toxic, water-resistant lubricant which is used extensively for lubricating all types of chains and conveyors operating in the food, drink and clean industries.
It can be used in environments with an operating temperature range of between -20 deg C and 150 deg C and the lubricant is highly resistant to water wash-off, as well as providing excellent penetration and protection against corrosion.
The product has been independently certified as safe for use in food and drink manufacturing, carrying the NSF H1 'tick mark', and - as with every product in the ROCOL Foodlube range - it does not contain mineral hydrocarbons, animal derived materials, nut oils or genetically modified ingredients.
