Conveying And Feeding Integrates With Flowrappers
Record Packaging Systems is offering integrated conveying and feeding systems for its range of stainless steel flowrappers.
For the first time in the packaging machine industry, the new machine is manufactured from KF2, a highly durable polymer, which offers a host of features unavailable on any other machine worldwide, said Record.
Rigorously tested for mechanical performance and thermal insulation, the move away from the spiralling costs of steel, allows the machine to be produced much more economically, but with no loss of standards claimed Record.
The Galileo will retail in the UK at GBP1,499.00 plus VAT for the basic machine.

Claimed innovations in the sealing area include a sealing bar with in-built shock absorbers, which give alignment with the hood every time to ensure a perfect seal.
The use of magnets now holds the hood in place at the optimum pressure for consistent sealing time and pressure.
That also ensures operator fatigue is removed as no manual pressure need be used and causes less mechanical stress to the machine.
The Galileo offers a sealing area of 567mm by 567mm and features a 10-product programme memory with digital display.
The entire electrical system can be accessed for service from the front of the machine to minimise down time in the event of a fault.
The machine also has an optional film micro-perforation system with up to 60 programmes available.
In addition, the product plate in the chamber can be adjusted to one of two positions and features plastic spacers to lift square product off the plate during the shrink process to avoid unsightly stripes on the bottom of the pack.
The Galileo has full CE certification and risk assessment documentation together with a 12-month guarantee.
Commenting on the launch, Edward Murphy of Record Packaging said: This is a truly unique and innovative machine at an exceptional price.
We now have a machine which competes on price very favourably with some of the sub standard imports coming into the market but with the quality reassurance of Minipack Torre, which we know is highly valued by our customers.
Yet again, Minipack has proved to be one step ahead when it comes to market development and we believe these machines will steal a march in the UK.".
