RedPrairie's DLx suite replaces InBond's stand-alone legacy depot and duty management systems and provides a comprehensive, functionality-rich solution for InBond's multi-client warehousing operations.
The logistics services provider evaluated solutions from other leading vendors, but found RedPrairie offered the best value and highly configurable applications that could be modified quickly and easily to meet the warehousing needs of individual customers.

In addition, RedPrairie's BillingCtl solution tracks handling and storage charges payable by each customer to ensure prompt, accurate invoicing.
"The DLx suite cuts overheads by enabling us to integrate the management of all our operations into a single solution", says Chris Boothman, IT Manager, InBond.
Implementation by RedPrairie took two months, followed by eight weeks of testing and user training, which ensured an on time go-live for both DLx Warehouse and DutyMaster.
Additionally, more than 95% of InBond's needs are being met using RedPrairie's standard functionality.
DutyMaster automates and simplifies the day-to-day complexities of handling goods under Excise bond.
Full audit reporting facilities allow the movement of bonded items to be tracked from collection to storage and final delivery to the customer in accordance with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) requirements.
RedPrairie meets monthly with HMRC officials to ensure that its software can meet new regulations and provides upgrade patches for all its users.

RedPrairie's solution provides companies with the ability to monitor their operations in real-time.
Data can be accessed instantly at the desktop, enabling reports for individual clients or HMRC to be generated significantly faster than before.
RedPrairie's scalable, flexible DLx suite will underpin InBond's planned expansion, both in the UK and abroad.
