Polstore Storage Systems and Sandvik Coromant UK have reached an agreement whereby Polstore's new product innovation CasC (Controlled access storage Cabinet) will have protocols with the Coromant tool management software package, AutoTAS AutoTAS is an integrated system providing total control over the lifecycle of cutting tools, gauges, jigs and fixtures

Now, with its link to the CasC system, all items are stored, retrieved and logged in a secure environment with the use of Polstore Drawer Cabinets.

A demonstration cabinet has been installed in Coromant's Productivity Centre at their UK headquarters in Halesowen, where it will be part of a complete machine shop working environment.

All potential and existing customers will be able to visit the site for an arranged demonstration.

The main focus of both products will be to assist the specification of tooling packages for medium-to-large organisations with supply chain control in mind.

However, organisations already running AutoTAS or who are looking for an installation in the future, now have the potential to benefit even further as a result of this closer working relationship between the two organisations.
