High precision carbide drills have been developed specifically for use with ISO-N materials, particularly aluminium alloys with a Si content of 8-12% or less.
A new generation of Sandvik Coromant Delta-C high precision carbide drills has been developed specifically for use with ISO-N materials, particularly aluminium alloys with a Si content of 8-12% or less The drill programme offers the facility for high speed, precision hole making in aluminium and is particularly suited to aerospace and automotive applications where it has the capability to completely replace PCD drills in many aluminium drilling operations
