The new KR insert geometry is now Coromant's the first choice for cast iron roughing with its combination of features making it the strongest insert available.
KR geometry can deal with demanding cutting conditions, but can also reduce vibration and power consumption lowering cutting forces along with substantially reducing the noise levels in the workshop.
The three new insert grades and geometry in combination with CoroTurn RC clamping system form an outstanding cutting tool package for high performance in cast iron machining operations.
