Sharp Interpack, based in Bridgewater, Somerset (UK) has developed a range of thermoformed MAP trays for Dutch fishmonger Profish, which supplies fish products to retailers across Europe The custom-made trays (available in a range of colour) were developed from Sharp Interpack's standard MAP range and are created from microwaveable polypropylene with carefully controlled gas permeation rates, enabling products to remain fresher for longer, said Sharp
The trays are also moulded in the shape of a fish and incorporate an optional sauce or dip insert, whilst still conforming to Sharp Interpack's 'crate fit' dimensions to keep logistics costs down to a minimum.
