Safety and security products save money
Specialising in systems for safety, security and control for vehicles, plant and machinery, systems are tailored for industrial use and often pay for themselves on reduced insurance premiums alone.
Sprint 600 provides high speed and high performance - with an opening speed of up to 3.0m/s - and notably the door is powered by saras' new intelligent MCC Vector Control.
This system combines high performance quieter operation and reduced energy costs.
In turn, all component parts of the door, from the materials to the control system and safety devices, are designed to cope with high stresses for long periods.
With a taut and modern design the door fits well in environments where aesthetics are important.
The door's side frames are manufactured in anodised aluminium, and there is a choice of door curtains and colours.
Sprint 600 is especially suitable for openings with heavy traffic and heavy wind loads, inside and out.
It has a wind resistance in accordance with EN 12424, class 3, which corresponds to wind speeds of up to hurricane force.
Safety features.
The door has an integrated counterbalancing and tension system.
The system ensures safe opening and closing in which the door curtain tension is maintained at all times when rolling, ensuring smooth operation in the windiest locations.
The door curtain can be manufactured from transparent PVC to optimise safety by improving the view of oncoming traffic or from Rolltex, a very rigid but light polyester fabric.
Rolltex is extremely durable and withstands heavy knocks without being damaged.
In addition, the door can be supplied with saras' "non-contact" safety beam; a travelling safety beam which travels ahead of the door bottom rail ensuring no damage by contact.
The anodised aluminium side frames are also fitted with hinges that make them easy to open for inspection and maintenance.
An anodised sheet profile also provides an aesthetically pleasing canopy for the door barrel.
During a power failure, the motor brake can be disengaged and the door automatically opens.
