The MS4600-EP is housed in a rugged cast aluminum enclosure that meets UL886, NEC articles 500, 501 and 502, and CSA.
They are rated for Class I, Group C and D explosive environments - the US standard for atmospheres represented by intermittent or continuous of Ethylene, and those represented by Propane.
They are available with 20 mm and 30 mm resolutions in protected heights of 520, 870 and 1215mm.
The 20mm resolution version also offers height protection of 610mm.
All lengths have a 13.5m range, and a 'short range' version is also available.
The MS4600-EP includes many of STI's standard safety light curtain features such as two box design, individual beam indicators, Exact Channel Select, Floating Blanking, choice of operating modes, MPCE monitoring and two PNP solid state safety outputs.
An optional DeviceNet interface and MTS are also available.
