Powerpact 4 brings peace of mind to contractors building installations for a wide range of power demands.
Current ratings are available from 250A to 2000A.
Powerpact 4 also brings increased levels of safety and ease of testing, with the option to switch the neutral on incoming or outgoing devices.
With neutral switching comes the option of fitting earth fault trips to give closer protection of cable and loads.
Sensitivities include 30, 300mA and 1, 3 and 10A with time delays to provide discrimination and guard against spurious tripping to increase the security of supply.
The circuit breaker used is the Merlin Gerin NS MCCB with ratings from 16A to 630A in one, two, three and four pole.
Devices for all types of installation and fault levels can be selected easily because high breaking capacities and levels of discrimination are standard with the option of a full range of electrical and mechanical accessories to support any control and indications required.
Powerpact 4 devices incorporate a unique connection system, which gives a quick and guaranteed connection by automatically providing the correct torque of the phase connections.
Allowing the use of different pole widths without loss in device density also provides flexibility when mixing 1, 2, 3 or 4 pole devices in any combination fitted anywhere on the stack and any phase sequence.
Powerpact 4 is ready to install and has a range of extension boxes, which can be fitted to the top/bottom or sides, for use in installations with large cables.
In areas where lower current levels of distribution are required at the same location as the panelboard, an integrated control and distribution unit (ICDS) can be fitted.
This allows for a single and triple pole Isobar 4 pan assembly along with any control equipment such as a 630A contactor to be installed in a modular enclosure attached to the Panelboard.
