Increased range on redesigned proximity
sensor
The redesigned IQ 12 inductive proximity sensor has a switching distance of 3mm when installed flush and 6mm when raised; also, the connection plug is located on the sloping rear of the housing
The redesign of the IQ 12 inductive proximity sensor was completed in time for the Hannover Trade Fair 2000 Users in storage and conveyor technology, in particular, will appreciate the modifications
The most important technical feature of the new IQ 12 is the sensor's increased switching distance.
It is now 3 mm when installed flush and as much as 6 mm when raised.
The advantage: increased switching reliability and greater flexibility in the case of tolerance-dependent switching distances.
The externally visible modifications are also of practical advantage for the user.
Thus, the connection plug is located on the sloping rear of the housing, simplifying cable guidance regardless of the sensor's mounting position.
The LED switching state indicator at the front is now also easier to see.
