Five-axis multi-tasking machine performs milling, grinding, belting, polishing and gauging in one set-up and is able to produc e work with high surface finish tolerances.

With the introduction of the WU305 Linear, an additional position in the wheel magazine expands the capabilities and versatility of the machine With full 5-axis machining capabilities, the cost savings for users that require high finish tolerances are very significant

For the filtration of milling chips, grinding and belting swarf, and polishing compound, the company has worked with a US based filtration company to provide a system to handle all four of these different contaminates.

The machine offers cylindrical and profile grinding, utilizing a variety of optional support systems.

From pallet loading to chain magazine systems, automatic parts handle can be offered.

Reduction in floor space requirements and the need for different machine tools, further enhance the benefits provided by the WU305 Linear.

According to Schutte, additional mechanical and software features are being developed, in response to customer demands and requirements.
