DirtCatcher offers an alternative
approach
DirtCatcher delivers completely contains contaminants within the element's outer shell.
Schroeder has introduced DirtCatcher elements, which are outside-in flow elements featuring an outer shell that prevents contaminants from falling back during element changes The outside-in flow design provides better pleat and seam stability than inside-out design because it causes dirt loading to occur in compression rather than in tension

Mobile filtration system cleans up hydraulics
A customised mobile filtration system is a compact, self-contained hydraulic filtration system equipped with high efficiency, high capacity elements capable of removing particulate contamination.
Fluid flowing from outside in has the effect of opening the pleats, thus avoiding undesirable pleat bunching and impeded flow that often occurs in inside-out flow elements.
Available in Excellement synthetic media, the DirtCatcher delivers all of the advantages of Schroeder's original outside-in flow elements (low pressure drop, excellent dirt retention, and high efficiency) all while completely containing the contaminants within the element's outer shell.
This being the case, the run-off fluid from a discarded element is actually clean and can be captured and recycled if desired.
DirtCatcher elements possess a unique physical size, allowing OEM's to retain 100% of their after-market business.
The outer wrap can be also be private labeled.
DirtCatcher elements are available in single or double length K-size elements and are totally interchangeable with Schroeder KZ and KKZ elements.
The elements can be purchased separately or incorporated into Schroeder's RT, KFT, KF3, KF8, and KT filter assemblies.
