Designed for all types of multi-component technology, a multi shot injection moulding machine uses a high-response hydraulic system.
Mould temperature controllers heat up quickly
Easy-to-maintain mould temperature controllers have fast and accurate heat-up time and can accurately maintain programmed temperatures.
The result is a smoother and easier running performance.
Sandretto UK has also launched two new robot control systems; one touch screen, the other numerical/programmable.
'User friendliness has been our prime selling point with Sandretto UK robots and controls,' says sales manager Chris Whitlam.
'These new items will enhance that performance and reputation even further.
The new control systems, for example, don't need complicated expertise in the arts of programming - but, should the user require it, up to 15 extra programmable lines are available after each section of programme.' Whitlam notes that the Sandretto UK market for automated plastics manufacturing is currently very buoyant.
'We sold some 15 robot systems in the last six weeks of 2003, and are carrying forward a very healthy order book this year.' Sandretto UK sees a trend in UK plastics towards the complete automation of moulding shops.
This has been partly prompted by the complexities of available labour and the costs of recruiting, organising and training such labour as is available to moulders.
Current Sandretto UK automation projects for clients include; automated hot foil printing of moulded plastic baskets; automated hot foil printing of a 240 litre 'wheely bin' product and several projects involving the automated applications of barcodes to plastic products.
Sandretto UK robots are manufactured and supplied by Dal Maschio in Italy.
