Robot is smoother and runs much easier
Intended for use on moulding machines of 500 -2500kN locking force, servo-drive linear robot is constructed from extruded aluminium profiles to provide greater rigidity for less weight.
Sandretto UK National Sales Manager for Ancillaries, Chris Whitlam, notes that 'Sandretto UK robots and automation have really benefitted over the past few months with the introduction of new models and control systems We have also seen an increase in the specification of standard models and have maintained our very competitive prices.' Leading the way is the Sandretto UK's new Ginko robot

Mould temperature controllers heat up quickly
Easy-to-maintain mould temperature controllers have fast and accurate heat-up time and can accurately maintain programmed temperatures.
Intended for use on moulding machines of 500 -2500kN locking force, the servo-drive linear robot is constructed in a new configuation from extruded aluminium profiles in order to provide greater rigidity for less weight.
The result is a smoother and easier running performance.
Over 2003 Sandretto UK supplied over twenty robot cells that incorporated a label applicator - for both bar code and product label applications.

Robots purpose-built to serve injection moulders
Purpose-built for plastics injection moulding machines with locking forces of 8200 -18000kN, a robot offers a high level of positional repeatability with minimal vibration.
The addition of the label applicator minimises the need for labour and allows the product to be stacked directly or on a conveyor - ready for transfering directly to the warehouse with minimal handling.
Sandretto UK sees a trend in UK plastics towards the complete automation of moulding shops.
This has been partly prompted by the complexities of available labour and the costs of recruiting, organising and training such labour as is available to moulders.
Current Sandretto UK automation projects for clients include; automated hot foil printing of moulded plastic baskets; automated hot foil printing of a 240 litre 'wheely bin' product and several projects involving the automated applications of barcodes to plastic products.
The user-friendliness of Sandretto's automation equipment is helping the company win over new UK customers.
The equipment offers a simple step control that follows programmed sequences.
The new control has the added benefit of programmable steps after each step of the sequence, thus giving flexibility when required.
Sandretto UK has also introduced a means for exchanging sequences between robot controls.
Sandretto UK has eliminated the need for separate control box by mounting the processor under the robot beam in a small electrical base and by then distributing the I/O cards close to the motor and pneumatic CAN BUS systems.
This is a space-saving benefit - but also has the benefit of faster responses; improving the extract time and general performance of the robot.
Sandretto UK supplies a comprehensive range of conveyors; including flat belt, angled and swan necked conveyors.
For the non-standard applications Sandretto UK can supply one-off conveyors designed to meet a specific need, including complete systems and roller conveyors for box and pallet transportation.
The Sandretto range of standard conveyors features: Rigid aluminium extruded construction; adjustable height; three phase motor and gear box (giving long maintenance free service); optional electronic speed and index control.
