Sandretto UK has taken orders for GBP 5.2 million in the first three months of 2004, including two orders for complete factory installations, and has increased its service team.

Leading injection moulding machinery supplier, Sandretto UK has appointed Mike Abbott to its Rugby-based service team.

Abbott was most recently employed at Toyota Manufacturing in the capacity of maintenance team member.

Other previous experience includes Ibstock Westbrick, and ABB Transportation.

Sandretto UK Customer Support Manager, Andy Roberts says that 'we are delighted to welcome Mike on board.

We believe that his automotive industry background will help ensure that Sandretto UK's service commitment to our moulders remains second to none.

Sandretto UK has taken orders for GBP 5.2 million in the first three months of 2004, including two orders for complete factory installations.

Managing Director Terry O'Reilly attributes much of the spurt in growth to the growing success of Sandretto UK's integrated machinery and ancillary equipment packages for UK injection moulders.

'Not only do we service the largest family of injection moulders in the UK with moulding machinery, we also supply the growing ancillary and automation needs of these customers.

Where they can, our moulders prefer to operate a one-stop-shop sourcing policy with us.

This bumper start to 2004 in terms of orders follows a 15% growth in Sandretto UK sales for 2003, compared to the previous year which very much bucked the trend as the overall market showed a marked reduction for 2003.
